During the day we have had a lot of shows, features and give-aways, raised money for 2 very special charities and had a blast while doing it!

Aide and Vicky battled it out against Paul (Sherman) and Holly to win the Pub Quiz!
The five rounds included:-

“It could be anything or everything” which included general knowledge questions
From this round we learnt that Scotland won the 2005 Elephant Polo World Championship!! That’s right you read Scotland!!!

Tim Palmer, a 3rd year KUBE-ite with a tendency to humiliate himself publically for the good of charity, presented his FINAL show on KUBE this year. And woah did he go out with a bang.

Aide and Amanda were joined by Carl Green, the former Public Face of Keele Nightline 2009-2010 and Matt Bedding, the present Public Face of Keele Nightline 2010 discussing about what Nightline is and what it is used for. Also in the studio was Erin from B-Clear providing information about Sexually Transmitted Infections.

Never Mind the KUBEcocks returned for another year, and this time round it was better than ever.
Team Metro (Vinnie & Aide) took on Team LAD (TC & Stevie B) in the classic music quiz.
The quiz consisted of three rounds – Guess that Tune, General Quiz, and the Intros Round.

At the Society Awards on Sunday 30th May we sent out questionnaires asking those who attended what their favourite tracks were over the past 10 years!
The tracks with the most votes are in descending order.

What we did…
We challenged KUSU sabbatical officers, Nick Heath, Roger Weston, along with incoming officers Fadi Dada and Sonia Douz as well as Tom Walker & Ross Evans to a special challenge. They were sent off to Hanley to complete 24 challenges at 11:30 and told to return by 2:30 with the most money, most [...]

Last year we raised just over £1000 for Comic Relief, but this year we hope to smash that total! Aide Rushton and TC Balmer have now entered the studio and will be locked in there for the next 24 hours! Thanks to the lovely English weather, we’ve moved the carnival indoors so head down to [...]

Last Year KUBE Radio’s 24 Hour Broadcast raised over £1000 for charity. Hosted by Nick Lancaster and Georgie Hammerton for the full 24 hours, with a presence on concourse and the The Pig and Rat for the majority of the event. It was an event that many will not forget in a life time.
